Introducing the New Generation of Microsoft Certifications
Microsoft has recently announced a new generation of certification programs that
correspond to the release of Visual Studio 2005, SQL Server 2005 and BizTalk Server.
Prior certification programs often required canditates to take courses and pass
exams that may not have been directly related to their job. The new certification
programs are targeted to reflect the detail of what you do and to prove your
expertise to those who need to know. This allows you to reach your goal of
certification in the most direct and cost-effective way possible. For complete details on the exciting new set of certifications, visit Microsoft's web site.
There are three new certification credentials available:
Microsoft Certified Technology Specialist (MCTS)

Microsoft Certified Architect Program
The Microsoft Certified Architect Program identifies top industry experts in IT
architecture. These prestigious professionals have a minimum of 10 years of advanced
IT industry experience, have three or more years of experience as a practicing architect,
possess strong technical and managerial skills, and form an elite community. Unlike
other industry certifications, this credential was built and is granted by the architect
community. Candidates must pass a rigorous review by the Review Board, which consists
of previously certified peer architects.
